The primary objective of this project-based contract was to create a document for AMC Theatres employees to use for installation/maintenance/reference in electronic form for their box offices, concessions, kiosks, and projection lab. Serving tens of thousands of realtors across the nation, our call center was responsible for troubleshooting our web-based and desktop-based MLS software that utilitized database technologies, many programming environments, and portable devices. Each call was logged with a ticket system that was also used as a knowledge base, so each problem's resolution had to be descriptive and easy to follow. Troubleshooting steps included browser settings, installing/uninstalling needed or conflicting software, editing the registry to exploit the quirks of problematic software, troubleshooting hardware/software/OS issues over the phone and advising the customers on next action if the issue could not be resolved. Training for our products was also given by phone.

For several years, based on word-of-mouth prospects, I maintained a steady career as a contract-based IT professional. Tasks ranged from home-user PC repair (virus removal, OS optimization/installation/upgrade, hardware/software troubleshooting, training) to network installation, data migrations, large-scale corporate installations, and problem-solving. I also provided web-design for several clients, including the creation of an online business with integrated purchasing system. I provided all graphic design and layout-design for these projects.
